It was 1984, after her return from Disneyland that she met the man of her dreams. He didn't know it then, but she knew that one day, they would be married. Three years later, they were married, and this young lady was finally able to return to Disneyland. Her husband, also someone who loved Disney, was more than happy to take her to Disneyland for their honeymoon.

Returning to Disneyland, and getting another glimpse of Sleeping Beauty Castle, now with a loving husband, were the things dreams were made of for this young lady. She felt like a Princess as they enjoyed everything Disneyland had to offer them. While this young couple was certainly not wealthy, there was enough money to make a small purchase of a trinket to bring home. She selected a key chain to remember her trip with, and while it was a small item, it did make her very happy. She now had a little piece of the most wonderful place in the world that she could carry around with her easily.

The young lady, while happy to have her key chain, had never forgotten her childhood dreams of owning something beautiful purchased at Disneyland. A lucky girl she was, as she was able to return to Disneyland often with the husband she loved so much. In 1992 Disneyland changed, adding new rides, and a new show. Splash Mountain quickly became a favorite of this young lady, and the new show, Fantasmic! invoked even more dreams in this head in the clouds young woman. The young couple was very lucky to have stumbled into Balcony seating for their first ever viewing of Fantasmic! The vantage point from the balcony was almost exactly center stage, high above the crowds, affording them an incredible view for this new show, starring none other than Mickey Mouse.

From this point, the dreams got bigger. The young woman could now picture herself with many beautiful Disney items to surround her when she returned home. Mickey Mouse was her hero. Seeing Sorcerer Mickey defeat evil was something that thrilled her, and she immediately bought herself a Sorcerer Mickey to return home with and enjoy forever.

It was 1993 when Disneyland added a new statue. They placed this statue in the Hub, the area where you could break off to other lands. It was surrounded by beautiful gardens, and other smaller statues of familiar Disney characters. The large statue, forever known as the Partner's Statue was the one that attracted her attention. Seeing Walt Disney, the creator of this incredible place, holding hands with Mickey Mouse, her favorite character, was a picture that brought tears to this young woman's eyes. She knew at that point, that one day she would own that statue, and she would never forget that dream.
