Bear in the Big Blue House is now in the weekday lineup for Playhouse Disney. Once again, your child can see Bear, Ojo, Tutter, Pip and Pop and Treelo for his or her daily lesson. Sing along with Bear as he does the goodbye song with Luna. Or listen to the story Shadow tells.
Bear in the Big Blue House, created by Jim Henson is one of the most loved programs on the Disney Channel and it is nice to have it back
Each episode of Bear will include fun with the other characters, a new word to learn and a very important lesson of the day. Bear is back in the House!

I'm so glad Bear is a Disney. It could be an hour though. That would make it even BETTER!! I got mostly Bear presents for my birthday. I got a new Bear talking doll, new t-shirt, new dvd, and new book.

I love Bear so much. My favorite song is the bear cha-cha-cha. I wish he was back on for Disney Pre-School's everyday lineup.

I love it. I'm glad it won one Emmy Award. That one was for "Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series". I think it should have won for "Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series".

About the video tapes, I forgot volume 5. Which has the following: A WAGON OF A DIFFERENT COLOR and SHAPE OF A BEAR. First episode: Ojo paints Bear's wagon. Bear helps Ojo make orange, green, and purple so Ojo can put more fancy colors on Bear's wagon. It's a very old wagon too. After, at the end...they all go to the market. Second and final episode: The final episode deals with both colors and shapes. Ojo wants to find a very important (or something) shape and bring it back alive. And Pip & Pop join Ojo with their shape club called, SHAPE EXPLORERS.
On these two episodes, Shadow sings TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR
Songs: What's in the mail today?, Twinkle twinkle little star, Some of the colors I see, Shape of a bear, and so on.
Along with Welcome to the Blue House (theme song) and Goodbye song (end song).

Just like one other person here, I too have just discovered "Bear in the Big Blue House." You know it because i have a Bear plush toy that's over like 30 inches tall. WOW!!! I have all the video tapes, one DVD, one CD, and I'm searching for posters. If you fans out there want to find somewhere online to find BEAR merchandise, go to eBay. We have only just discovered bear in the big blue house. My almost 2 year old loves it, he shouts " bear!," when ever it comes on, dances to the songs and even tries to sing to the goodbye song :-) no other show has ever caught his attention as much as this show. The only trouble is, we can't find any bear toys anywhere :-(

I love the show. I have Volume 1. I loved it!!! Bear gave us a tour of his house in "Home Is Where The Bear Is." And Tutter gets his first letter ever from his grandma in "What's In The Mail, Today?" I love Volume 1!!! I love Bear and all of his friends along with Tutter, Ojo, Treelo, Pip & Pop, Shadow, Doc Hogg, Ray, and Luna. All of them!!! I also watch it with my 27 or 28" Bear in the big blue house. The stuffed animal is Bear!!! My family and I love Bear in the Big Blue House!!! And don't bring back Johnny and the Sprites.

You know, maybe this show was taken off for a good reason....now that I'm older, the show is okay to me,(because I get the humor now) but when I was little I was traumatized by this show!! I didn't wanna get eated!!!!

I love Bear in the Big Blue House. I have a stuffed animal of the big bear that's over 27 inches and about 15 inches wide. Disney should be very ashamed for taking Bear in the Big Blue House. Very dissapointing of taking that show off, Disney. :'(

i have a bear in the big blue house stuffed animal. i carry it with everywhere i go. i got it for christmas. it came with three bear in the big blue house video tapes. they were: safe and sound, sharing with friends, and visiting the doctor with bear. i got the video tapes on christmas too. to put my video tapes in, you'll never believe this... i got a brand new VCR! i love it!!! to go on the bear in the big blue house website, you'll also never believe this... i got a new computer! that and the VCR were for the whole family. i am pretty much okay with that. well, gotta run. bye!

My 9 year old loved Bear, and now my 2 year old watches the VHS abd DVD's we have...constantly. She loves these characters more than anything else we have seen on the Disney Channel. Why not give Bear another chance, even if it is in a later time slot. I would be glad to DVR or record so we could watch at a decent time. The majority of the shows we watch are on PBS or NickJr because my 2 year old doesnt seem to care for any of your currrent offerings. Bring back the bear!!!
