Clay is the quintessential character for Playhouse Disney. This little yellow ball of fun can morph into anything he wants to be and he can do it several times in the space of just 30 seconds. Clay is the character the younger children learn to love first. He is exciting and colorful. Clay always sites on or near alphabet blocks. Clay introduces each new show. Yes, clay is your friend, and he acts like it too.
Page
Page is a friend of Clay's and she will come each day to teach your child the word of the day. The word of the day will be written on page, as well as a picture of what the word represents.
The naming of these characters was simplistic. Clay is a piece of clay, and Page is a piece of paper. This makes the names easy to remember for the small children and adults alike. The two characters encompass the very idea of imagine and learn. Disney may have some great shows in the morning for children, but these two characters win the favorite race hands down!

lissen disney people i am a true disney fan i been there every year of my life but i really miss all the old shows like clay,shanna show,lizzy,kim possible,raven and all of them even playhouse disney im 13 i loveeeeeeeeee disney and so does everyone and for you to take off clay and every show is mean i went to disney for christmas and im really mad i have a disney room i even go to california disney i no all of the disney secrets i just wish for you to put clay back on i mean you should ether make another disney channel with them on or put both new and old shows on disney channel you should lissen to me because if you dont put it back on you will have lots of sad kids that wont be disney then u wont have any disney fans if you dont put it back on

All these stupid new shows on playhouse is whack i bet kids don't watch them. I use to watch mickey's clubhouse THE OLD ONE then after ZARO then all the mickey plutoect shows then Clay on playhouse. I miss out of the box, rolli pollie, and all that. How come you can put at least 2 or 3 old clay classics back on the air. And yes im 18. So what!!!!!
And I know this ain't aBOUT DISNEY but they need to bring back rocketpower, cat&dog, and ect back to nick. I like Spognebob but they play WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy to much of that. And Cartoonetwork they need to bring back the old shows like Cartoon Cartoon fridays Johhny Brovo, poewrpuff...OMG POEWRPUFF GIRLS, dexter's lab ect...I mean come one. WE HATE OHH AND AHH! THEY SUCK BUTT! WHY DONT THEY BRING BACK ALL THE OLD SHOWS AND I MEAN ALL OF THEM! ESPECIALLY CLAY AND PAGE! ALL OF THE NEW SHOWS SUCK TOO!!! LIKE THE UPSIDE DOWN SHOW! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!

WHERE IS CLAY???!!!! I loved clay and disney's new shows are stupid. Like, who even likes handy manny?? And Charlie and Lola are even stupider. And, "little Einsteins," what is up with that show??? If you want to take a show off the internet and TV, take off Daniel Cook. He's like, what, 15 now?? What's so interesting about watching a kid parade around town learning about jobs?? And everyone's freaking out about H1N1, but Daniel Cook licks his fingers alot when he makes food, and never even washes them, and then goes and sticks his fingers in all the food, and then they all eat it afterwards. Talk about unsanitary! I Am a teenager and I still love Clay, so that just proves that not only little kids are outraged by this profanity. Put Clay on the air!!!!!!!!!

Clay & Page is awsome. Even though it's 2 minutes and 30 seconds, I still love it and watch it. I do think Clay and his friend Page are really awsome and great. Even though this... okay. New topic (about Clay & Page), I heard in 2010, Clay & Page will do the following shows: This is Daniel Cook, This is Emily Yeung, Bear in the Big Blue House, Breakfast With Bear, and Charlie & Lola. All 5 of those Disney Channel shows are coming back. But, they will be only done by Clay & Page. Not Playhouse Disney. They'll be also doing those shows on a new TV channel named, The Clay & Page Channel. Now The Clay & Page Channel does The Wiggles (Wiggle & Learn), Teletubbies, and Stanley. In 2010, they'll be doing the 5 shows that I mentioned.
