where is the handy manny merchandise?  (Review 121 of 214)
Reviewed by kim on 1/11/2007 Rating: (3144)

my twin boys love the show. one of them especially loves it and
has taken out all the "handy manny" tools from his huge tool
set. he carries these around with him all day, even to bed.
but where can i buy the "handy manny" merchandise. i have
searched everywhere and the only thing i found was a handmade
set on eBay.
i made a set for my son (which turned out really good) but out
of cardboard, so they are not very durable.
i am still waiting to find the tools available for purchase and
i am sure i am not the only one.

HE CANT WAIT TO SEE IF MANNY WILL BE ON AGAIN, THE SHOW IS SO
AMAZING SINCE WE STARTED WATCHING IT HE WANTS TO HELP DADDY AND

PEOPLE CAN SPEAK BOTH LANGUAGES AND NOW SAYS ADIOS TO GRANDPA
RATHER THAN BYE . . . TO HIS GRANPA THAT MEANS THE WORLD TO
HIM !!!! MY SON TURNS 3 IN APRIL, I NEED HANDY MANNY BIRTHDAY

Makes learning Spanish easy  (Review 126 of 214)
Reviewed by Cindy S. on 12/28/2006 Rating: (3112)

I love Handy Manny. Let me start with that. My 2 year old
bilingual daughter loves him even more. Santa brought her a
tool box so she can pretend to fix stuff just like Handy Manny
does.

She is now learning certain words and how they are said two
different ways. She doesn't have a problem with the fact that
he not only tells you the word in Spanish but then tells you
what it means so that a kid speaking English will undertand
what he's saying.

Something I must add. To reinforce a child's learning it
doesn't hurt if the parent sits down to watch the program with
them. Talk about what was just watched and said. (no matter
what age you are it really does work)

Toolbox Improv  (Review 127 of 214)
Reviewed by Stefani on 12/28/2006 Rating: (3113)

My 2 year old daughter loves this show! She yells Manny Manny
come see mommy" when the show comes on. I love this show to
because I am somewhat bilingual (I speak alot of broken spanish
especially when I get Spanish speaking patients) and try to
teach my daughter what I know and this show helps out alot.
However, I want to get her a tool box for her birthday that is
fast approaching and I cant find one! Its cute but sad because
she uses the "Toy Medical Kit" i bought her for christmas as a
handy Manny tool box...

I have adopted my sister's children. They are struggling
getting used to using English. I do not like them watching
this show at all. It is confusing to them. My oldest is 7. I
realize she is older than the target age, but she watches with
the younger ones. She does not like the fact that Manny speaks
two languages. She thinks it is hard to understand. She said
that it is hard for her to learn to speak English properly if
it constantly goes back and forth.

My 4 year old loves watching Handy Manny, and I love it. There is always a listen
learned in each show. Being African American, my son is learning to speak spanish. I
love it.

Just wish I could find the toys for Christmas. Please let me know when they are coming
out.

Handy Manny's Tools Alternative  (Review 133 of 214)

I bought a set of toy tools, used white puff balls with wiggley
eyes and some black felt for eyebrows and put them in a tool box
and my grandsons went nuts over them. I even put the names on
them with a permenent marker.

Just a thought!

We need Handy Manny TOYS!  (Review 140 of 214)
Reviewed by Seaton on 12/6/2006 Rating: (2578)

My three year old son begs to watch Handy Manny constantly.
It's the only thing he wants to watch on TV. He has 'generic'
tools and toolbelt that he uses and counts in Spanish when he
makes them 'jump' into his toolbelt -- FYI, oucho (SP?) or eight
is Manny. I knew Manny counted to 8 in the show. After filling
my son's toolbelt with all the tools I remembered, we were short
one. I thought we were missing a tool but Manny counts himself
as 8!! :) Disney could make a mint this holiday season if they
had some Handy Manny toys - talking tools, toolbox, gloves, fix-
it dog and a Kelly hardware store! We need TOYS AND BOOKS!!
