This show is great !! I can't believe there are paretns that do
not want their children to experience the real world. In this
world today, people of all walks of life (Hispanics, African
Americans, Asian and Caucasian) have to live and get along
together. Why would you ever want your child to think
otherwise? Adults need to be more like children, always loving-
never passing judgement. Keep our children innocent-
We love you Hanny Mandy !!! Also- yes where are the toys and
Handy Manny games?

I have read all the articles and my mom immigrated and was
force to learn English yet I hunger myself for a second
language. What an opportunity at my sons yound age of 2.9. He
loves Manny and named all of his Elmo tools accordingling
although he knows their real names too. A child is a sponge
let them absorb.

We love Handy Manny. Why oh Why hasn't Disney come out with the
toys yet? Other times they come out with things months and
months before the movie comes out...this time I can't find them
anywhere....it's almost Christmas...maybe they are waiting so we
will all spend money AFTER Christmas??? Who knows but I wish I
could find them!

My two daughters, 4 and 6 have always loved tools and this show
was an instant hit. In fact the whole family enjoys it. I LOVE
that it is a bilingual show, I wish it could be in French or
Italian as well. Spanish is the most useful second language in
our society and will do our children well to be mulit-lingual
as well as multi-cultural. For the parents who are worried that
Manny, Dora and Diego are ruining America I say to you, "get a
grip!" Illegal aliens are a problem, but plenty Spanish
speaking Americans were born here or are legally in America. My
two daughters attend a private Christian school were the have
started learning Spanish in K4 and K5. It is awesome to see
children soaking up so much knowledge! Thanks Manny : )

Much like classical music, alternative language learning
promotes heightened brain activity and allows kids to learn on a
higher level than whomever raised the naysayers here. Yes,
English should be and is the official language of this
country...but we STILL teach our kids Spanish, French, German,
etc. in our schools so get over it. This isn't hurting anyone -
if your kids are confused, EXPLAIN it to them, they're not
stupid just because they're young. Perhaps this is an
opportunity to learn something about our parenting as well...

The cartoon itself is cute however my kids get confused when
they begin speaking in spanish and then back to english. Why
are we promoting spanish speaking cartoons. We are in
America!! We turn the channel when this show comes on.

I can't believe that in the century that we live in people are
so ignorant. There is nothing wrong with learning a second,
third or fourth language. If anything you should know that it
only betters our children and it prepares them in their future.
To the ignorant person who posted a comment about Manny being
legal, does it matter? It is a show for children to enjoy and
escape the the real world for half an hour. Do you watch the
news? Do you know what is going on around the world? Is this
the kind of world that you wanted to bring your children into?
I hope not, just remember that change starts with us the adults.

My 2 1/2 year old likes the show, but seems confused when he
speaks Spanish. I do not approve of these shows that are
switching between English and Spanish (or any other language).
We live in America and should be broadcasting in the English
language. Our children should be able to choose to learn
another language, not be forced to by Manny, Dora, and Diego.

This program is excellent for kids, especially pre-schoolers. My
son can't wait to have a box of tools like Handy Manny. It is
biligual, so it promotes other languages (in this case Spanish)
and the music is great!

Is Manny here illegally ? This would be a great venue to
promote LEGAL workers of foreign lands . Our children need to
be taught that sneaking into America is a crime.

This show is absolutely great! My almost three year old dances
to all of the songs and pretends to be Manny. Great job Disney
for creating a wholesome show that is also educational and
teaches children another language in a fun way, while teaching
teamwork and being polite to others. My son and I are great
fans! I can't wait to find merchandise soon.
