Fantasmic! Review

Fantasmic! is a show involving a mouse, water, fire, a bad guy or two, an island, a few barges, a few ships, and one heck of an imagination.

Disneyland's Rivers of America is where you can find the show called Fantasmic! which shows nightly during the peak season, and usually on weekends in the off season. This show is worth the price of admission into Disneyland.

The mouse of course, is Mickey Mouse. The water is not only the Rivers of America, but the huge water screens from which the audience sees parts of the show. Fire is from a fire-breathing dragon who of course is one of the bad guys. The other is Ursula and both come from one evil witch morphing into other evil personas. Most people are already aware that much of the show takes place on Tom Sawyer Island. The two ships happen to be the Columbia, which sails the Rivers of America to do a Peter Pan Skit during the show. When in operations, the Mark Twain sails at the end, loaded with Disney characters for one last hurrah. If you have not yet seen Fantasmic! you have no idea the power of Mickey's imagination.

Fantasmic! will show you that power in a 22 minute display of color, special effects, and one incredible musical score. And at the end, you will see Mickey Mouse in all of his glory, displaying all of his power to amaze every guest in attendance. This is one show you don't want to miss.

I have seen Fantasmic! many times over the years, and it is still my all time favorite show at the Disneyland Resort. I love the music, the water screens, the excitement, and of course I love Mickey. The ending when all of Disneyland's characters appear is another great site, and this is just about the only place where you can see them all together. When they sail in on the Mark Twain it is just incredible. Yes, I highly recommend Fantasmic!
