Walt Disney World Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional has become a yearly tradition at Epcot, in

Walt Disney World.  This show appears at the American Gardens Theater several times nightly beginning in late November each  year.

The Candlelight Processional is a musical extravaganza and the retelling of the Christmas Story  almost word for word from the King James version of the Holy Bible.  Each show will have a guest narrator to tell the story.  The guest narrator is always a well known actor, actress, singer, director or producer.  For 2009 the list of narrators included Isabella Rosellini, Whoopi Goldberg and Angela Bassett with Courtney Vance.

You will also see a 50 piece Walt Disney World Orchestra perform during the show, and on some nights there will be a guest conductor.  These guests usually come from highly respected colleges.

Each show will have a local high school choir performing during the show.  The high school kids will be wearing yellow robes during the show.  The performers in the green robes are Walt Disney World Cast Choir members.  Voices of Liberty were also in the choir this year, and were all dressed in red.

The Candlelight Processional follows this schedule (2009):
