Disney Cruise General Information

Disney Cruises are a great way for families to have a wonderful vacation. Because of the name Disney… you might think that they are tailored for children. Or, if you have been on a typical cruise, you might feel your children will not have anything to do. In fact each ship has an adult only area, a teen only area, and also many activities for different ages of children. Disney has definitely done this right providing people of all ages with a wonderful vacation.

It is easy to combine a trip to Walt Disney World with a cruise by doing the 3 or 4 day Bahamas' Cruise. Each of these cruises combine a ¾ day cruise with a 3 or 4 night stay at Walt Disney World. While at sea you will stop at the Bahamas and at Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay.

If you don't want to go to Walt Disney World in combination with your Cruise there are options also. There is a 3 or 4 night Cruise, a 7 night Eastern or Western Caribbean Cruise, and for the truly adventurous, there is now a 10 or 11 night Mediterranean Cruise. And for those looking for a longer vacation there is also now a 14 night Transatlantic Cruise that sails twice a year to reposition the Cruise Ships.

With these added Cruises you now have the option f going on vacation in total Disney style with or without a trip to Walt Disney World. You can be extravagant or relaxed on vacation. Cruise with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in total luxury.
