How to Plan a Disney Cruise - Disney Cruise Insurance

If you read the How to Plan a Disney Cruise - Payment article you now realize that you have to pay for your Disney Cruise up to 120 days in advance and that the cancellation fees are severe between that time and your cruise.  DisneyMouseLinks and Wish Upon A Star Cruises Travel Agency highly recommends some type of insurance to help offset the investment of your Disney Cruise Vacation in case the worst happens.

Cruise Insurance can range from "cancel for any reason" to only being able to cancel in certain situations such as a medical emergency and death in the family. Some will cover travel delays that might force you to miss your sail date but not all of them. Most policies not only cover the cruise cost but also other events that can affect your vacation.  Some examples are: Trip Delay, medical expenses, baggage loss or delay. A very cruise specific situation is being evacuated off the ship for a medical reason.  That could cost 10s of thousands.

The following is for informational purposes only.  It is not expected to replace you reading any travel insurance policy yourself to ensure it covers what you expect it to cover.
