What’s Happening At Disneyland – Fall 2010

Disneyland Resort Hours in the Fall

September and  is a cross-roads between slow and busy hours.

Monday-Thursday still has shorter hours… typically 10am-8pm with no night entertainment.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays have longer hours… 9am-12am and has the fireworks show.

Disneyland closes early 10 times in October for the Mickey’s Halloween Party.

Fall means Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort.

Halloween runs from September 17 through October 32st.

Both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure get ‘decked out’ for Halloween.  Pumpkins and orange bunting abound throughout the park.  A 16 foot tall Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern is in Town Square of Disneyland and the CALIFORNIA entrance letters in front of Disney’s California Adventure become giant pieces of candy corn.

The characters are out in their Halloween costumes.  Jack and Sally from ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas are out and about in New Orleans Square near the Haunted Mansion.

Disneyland’s Space Mountain has its Ghost Galaxy overlay.

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion is overlaid with its popular ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme.

Main Street has the Pumpkin Festival and there is the Halloween Roundup at the Big Thunder Ranch.

The special  ‘Halloween Screams Fireworks’ show is one of the best and unique fireworks show Disney has ever put on.

Mickey’s Halloween Party is at the Disneyland Park this year.  This private party scheduled for October 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and 31 is open only to special ticket holders. Everyone can dress up as their favorite Halloween character and there will be Halloween music, trick-or-treat stations and dance parties.  Ticket prices run between $49-$59 per person.
