What's Happening at Disneyland September 21, 2009- October 5, 2009

General Information:

The days of the week for early entry have changed, effective January 5th.  Now early entry will be called Magical Mornings and is offered on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Walt Disney Imagineering’s Blue Sky Cellar is still open, showing sketches, models, and other previews of the changes coming to Disney’s California Adventure.  This is located at the Golden Vine Winery location.

With the work being done around the lagoon in California Adventure the smoking area overlooking the water and next to the Zephyr has been relocated.  This smoking area can now be found in the old Burger Invasion seating area.

It is not the slow season for the Disneyland Resort so the hours are shorter and entertainment is only on weekends.  Typical weekday hours for Disneyland are 10 – 8.

Halloween Screams Fireworks show will debut on Friday, September 25th.  Weekend times (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are 9:25pm, and weekday times are 8:00pm.

Celebrate! A Street Party will run once a day.  Show sights are Main Street, the Central Hub and Small World.  Get exact locations from a Cast Member and be prepared to stand for the show.

Major work is being done at California Adventure and refurb walls are put up all around the lagoon while work continues on World of Color.  Ride Mickey’s Fun Wheel to get a sneak peek at the goings on there.

Walls are also put up at the former Golden Dreams location.  The building has been demolished and work is being done on the Little Mermaid attraction.

From Harbor Boulevard you can see work going on in Cars Land.
