When we arrived at Akershus we were seated within 5 minutes. Upon our arrival inside the restaurant they take your picture with Belle. But we chose to let Kyan have it taken by herself. We later bought these pictures too. Our waiter Ole was from Norway and was a little rude for my taste. He never brought us refills on our drinks until we asked and he bought Kyan the wrong drink. Ole never came back to get our empty salad plates and with autograph book, video camera, camera, 4 drinks, 4 salad plates, and then 4 entrée plates you run out of room quick at a small table for 4. We were seated on the same side of the room with the door that the princesses enter from so within 20 minutes into our meal we had seen all the princesses. We saw Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White. Kyan could hardly contain herself when she saw Snow White. The appetizer part of the meal is a cold buffet with different cheeses, turkey, bread, & salads to choose from. My main entrée was the Pasta Akershus with chicken it was excellent. Troy ordered the Short Ribs and was very displeased with his selection commenting it tasted like his mother’s ribs. The children had hot dogs and pizza but Kyan was too excited for food. After our entrees we were served a platter with 3 desserts. The desserts were a chocolate mousse, rice pudding, & a cheesecake. We were in the restaurant a total of an hour. I loved this experience; Troy doesn’t want to go back. He didn’t care for the food. If you are not an adventurous eater I would choose a different meal.

Normally we only do 2 character meals each trip but this time we opted for the dining plan. With the dining plan we were able to have a character meal each day which was nice. Not only did the kids enjoy the meals but it was a nice break for us during the day when we didn’t have to wait in the character lines at the theme parks. The dining plan was definitely worth the extra money and is really a great deal for the kid’s price of the package. And with having the dining plan you will not go away hungry.

I would give the meal a 6 mainly from our service of our waiter, Ole.
