Golden Horseshoe Review 2007

The Horseshoe is located in Frontierland and features Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.  The menu is very limited here but you can get food at any of the nearby New Orleans Square restaurants and carry it in to watch the show.  We had fish and chips, chicken strips, and chili cheese fries.  The Horseshoe was very crowded.  Every table was full and the tables were crammed in together you could hardly move.  The food was expensive, of course, and mediocre.  But the show well makes up for the lack of room and choices.  The restaurant is set up to look like an old saloon.  The stage is front and center and home to Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.  This comedic country review is entertaining.  The show is just long enough to enjoy a few laughs, sing along, and take a load off for 30 minutes.  I recommend getting your food and sitting down well before the show to beat the crowd.  The line is long and slow for food.  The show was enjoyable (though unchanged after 5 years) for all four of us.  Our 13 year old loved the Beatles rendition and our 3 ½ year old loved (and I mean loved) the train segment.  If you have the time, and enjoy musical reviews, take the time to stop and enjoy this one!
