Jedi Training Academy Review 2007

We watched Jedi Training last year and our seat was right up against the stage edge. We were on the side near Finding Nemo sitting front row at a table.  People kept getting between our table and the stage rails which really upset me because they blocked Alex’s view.  I got Alex to switch seats just in time for Darth Maul to come out and scare the living daylights out of him.  Poor kid!  He did not like that scary man.  Darth Maul looked amazing and was so much like his movie counterpart we sat there in awe.  Alex did like Darth Vader though, but unfortunately his back was to us most of the time. Like Darth Maul, the Dark Lord was portrayed exactly like he was in the movies.  The Storm Troopers were also incredible.

If your child wishes to be one of the lucky few who get to fight either Darth Vader or Darth Maul, there is a rope set up on the dance floor of Tomorrowland Terrace and the children all wait behind that line.  Cast Members will come out and select approximately 20 of these children, teach them some moves, and how to use the light sabers, and then they will each get a turn fighting one of the bad guys.

The show was enjoyable, even for those of us just watching.  Seeing Darth Vadar and the Storm Troopers in real life was very nice indeed.
