Alice in Wonderland Review (2007)

Alice in Wonderland is a wonderful attraction for young and old alike.  The short queue doesn’t hold too many people, so if you see no people past that little queue, be sure to hop in line and you will have a very short wait.  Once it gets busier the queue extents out well past the actual queue area.  Alice is a pretty slow loading attraction, so keep that in mind as you enter the queue.

The ride vehicles for Alice are little caterpillars with two rows.  Each family rides alone in a caterpillar, even if only two are in the party.  When there are 3 people, the cast members like to have the adults in the back row and the child in the front row.  Our son really enjoyed riding ‘alone’ the first time he was put in the front row by himself.

As your ride begins you enter the building and begin to go down, down, down just as Alice did on the way to her journey through Wonderland.  During the attraction you will see Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Queen on Hearts and more!  You will go through the singing flowers, watch the cards painting the roses red, and even see the queen of hearts playing croquet.

After the Queen hits her ball your vehicle takes you outside for a quick turn and then back into the building you go for a very merry unbirthday as you exit the building when the ride ends.

This attraction is very colorful with some wonderful scenes.  Also of note on this attraction is the familiar music from the movie.

Alice in Wonderland is one of the great Fantasyland Dark Rides that children and adults alike simply love.  Nothing scary in this ride at all, and between the music and the scenes you will be enchanted.  The Cheshire Cat is very well done in this attraction as well.

I highly recommend Alice in Wonderland for children of all ages.  This is a fantastic attraction.

In December we did find that Alice shuts down in the rain though, so keep that in mind when weather is inclement.
