Anaheim Hilton Review 2007

The Hilton Anaheim Hotel is located next to the AnaheimConvention Center and is one mile from Disneyland. My family has stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. The rates vary depending on the season and events that are going on. We have stayed at this hotel for as little as $85.00 per night. The rooms are very comfortable and include coffee service and high-speed internet connection. Roll away beds and cribs are also available upon request. There is a daily fee for self-parking, but the ART system is also available and picks guests up at the front entrance to the hotel. The hotel offers the following amenities (from the Hilton website at www.hilton.com):

Beauty salon

Car rental desk

Clothing store

Florist

Gift shop

Laundry/valet service

Newsstand

Business center

Fitness Center

Children's Activities

Outdoor pool

Valet and Self Parking (self parking is $11.00 per day and garage is shared w/ the Convention Center.)

Pets are allowed (max. size is 50 lbs.)

There are 5 restaurants/eateries on site:

Starbucks

The Gazebo (poolside grill)

Pavia (Northern Italian Cuisine; reservations are required)

Café Oasis (buffet and a la carte menu)

The Sushi Bar

When staying in a standard room, breakfast is not included with your stay. When staying in an executive room or when provided with concierge service, a complimentary continental breakfast and cocktail hour are available. The staff at this hotel is very courteous and efficient. We have never had any problems or complaints when staying here. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. No matter what room we've stayed in,  we’ve had a great view. My son loves the huge windows that stretch from the floor to the ceiling. There isn't much noise bleed, which allows for a pleasant night's sleep. The only drawback to staying at this hotel is there are no mini refrigerators or microwaves in the standard rooms. However, the selection of restaurants is wonderful. We have eaten at the Café Oasis several times and the food has always been excellent. The hotel is also very child-friendly. Toy kits are complimentary and may be taken to the room. The restaurants provide child menus. There is also a children's activity area on the lower lobby level by the fitness center. The hotel also provides complimentary gifts to children from time to time.
