Text of the presentation:

Walt Disney's younger years inspired him in many ways.  He was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago.  Walt's parents were Elias and Flora.  Elias was a farmer and a railroad worker.  Flora did not have a job.  His siblings are Roy and Herbert. 

 

Walt Disney's interests were to build a theme park.  He liked to draw also.  Walt went to school and he had to move a lot.  he also delighted the class with cartoon drawings.  He married Lillian.  They had two children named Diane and Sharon.  The person Walt Disney became was shaped by these events.

 

Walt Disney's actions and ideas changed the world in many ways.  He started school when he was 7 and he liked to perform for his classmates.  He studied art in Chicago and worked on his skills as a cartoonist.  After the war Walt Disney had many jobs as an artist.  Walt Disney voted to have a new way to do animation.

 

Walt Disney possessed many International Baccalaureate traits.  He was caring because he was a very nice man.  He also was a risk taker because he took a risk on building the park (Disneyland).  He was also a thinker because he thought of the parks.

 

Mr. Disney had many accomplishments and awards.  Walt created pictures that moved and build Disneyland.  He got an Academy Award.  Did you know Walt Disney won more than one award?  Walt Disney changed the world.

 

Walt Disney was influential because he made a contribution to society as an inventor.  The world is different because Walt Disney lived.  Disney would not exist and the world is different because Walt Disney build parks all over the world.  He got his ideas from drawing ads on tv.  He was influenced by making ads.  He died on December 15, 1966.  He died from lung cancer.  Walt did many things but he will be best remembered for creating characters and parks for kids to enjoy!
