There are 7 hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard steps away from Downtown Disney that are official Walt Disney World Hotels, yet they are not owned by Disney. What this means is that you cannot use Disney’s Magical Express to get between the airport and your hotel. Only one of these hotels offers the Extra Magic Hours benefit*. These Hotels do have Bus Transportation to the parks or the Ticket and TransportationCenter. The front desk can give you that schedule.

What these hotels DO offer is comfort and exceptional service. With bars, lounges, restaurants and even mini stores each hotel has some very deluxe features. These hotels also offer WiFi internet service at no charge. And many of them have refrigerators in the room.

While these hotels are more expensive than the Disney Value Resorts, they do offer a deluxe vacation where you are not immersed in Disney Magic. The Downtown Disney Hotels are great for combing a business trip with a Disney World vacation.
