What’s Happening at Disneyland 10/14/08 – 10/31/08

 

 

General Information:

 

Finding Nemo Wait Times:  Average 30 - 45 minutes

 

The days of the week for early entry have changed, effective January 5th.  Now early entry will be called Magical Mornings and is offered on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Chip was seen in a Police costume, and Dale is in a Jail costume.  Goofy is dressed as a Skeleton.

 

Indiana Jones Adventure has reinstated the Single Rider Pass.

 

 

Toy Story Mania wait times average 30-60 minutes. 

 

Paving work is being done in Tomorrowland.  Some routes have been closed because of this and the Buzz Fastpass machines are down because of this.

 

Work is in progress to create the new Pixie Hollow area with Tinker Bell and her friends.

 

Walt Disney Imagineering’s Blue Sky Cellar is now open, showing sketches, models, and other previews of the changes coming to Disney’s California Adventure.  This is located at the Golden Vine Winery location.

 

Halloween Time at Disneyland has officially begun, with new napkins and other paper products, new decorations, Woody’s Halloween Roundup and the trick or treat parties at California Adventure (on select nights – tickets required).  This will run until November 2nd.

 

 

The Disneyland Fantasyland Smoking Area has been returned.  No longer will there be smokers on the way to the Tomorrowland Train Station.

 

 

Small World Updates:

 

The Small World Façade is now uncovered and looks beautiful with what looks to be a fresh coat of paint.

 

Water has been placed in the flume for vehicle testing.   The new ride vehicles look very different, and very nice!  Each boat now has five rows with handholds on the seat back for entering and exiting the boat.  Work is still being done on the Small World garden areas.
