Star Wars:Galaxy’s Edge is a new immersive 14 acre land that is based on the remote settlement called Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.  The Galaxy’s Edge imaginers brought back the technique where the rides, restaurants and shops are exclusive themed to Star Wars. 

Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland on May 21st, 2019.  It is located behind Rivers of America and has three entrances: northwest edge of Fantasyland, north of Frontierland and north of Critter Country.

Galaxy’s Edge opened at Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World resort on August 29th, 2019.  It is in northwest corner of the park with entrances from the top Grand Ave and from the northwest corner of Toy Story Land.

Attractions

Star Wars: Millennium Falcon – Smugglers Run

Height Restriction: 38” (97cm) or taller

Must transfer from Wheelchair

Star Wars: Millennium Falcon – Smugglers Run is a motion simulator attraction in which park guests are seated in a 6-passenger motion simulator, themed after the Millennium Falcon. Guests go on an interactive "smuggling mission" with each guest on the attraction being assigned a different crew role.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Height Restriction  40” (102cm) or taller

Must transfer from Wheelchair

Rise of the Resistance is a combined trackless dark ride, walk-through, motion simulator, and drop ride system that puts guests into the middle of an altercation between the Resistance and the First Order. The ride is unlike anything else at the Disney Parks. It consists of four inter-working ride systems in conjunction with audio-animatronics, detailed set pieces, projection mapping, and screen-based visuals
