What's Happening At Disneyland September 29 through October 13, 2008

What’s Happening at Disneyland 9/29/08 - 10/13/08

General Information:

Finding Nemo Wait Times:  Average 25 - 45 minutes

The days of the week for early entry have changed, effective January 5th.  Now early entry will be called Magical Mornings and is offered on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Toy Story Mania wait times average 30-60 minutes.  One tip – don’t get in line when the park opens.  Wait an hour or so for the initial rush to subside and then get in line for a shorter wait.

Paving work is being done in Tomorrowland.  Some routes have been closed because of this and the Buzz Fastpass machines are down because of this.

Work is in progress to create the new Pixie Hollow area with Tinker Bell and her friends.

Halloween Time at Disneyland has officially begun, with new napkins and other paper products, new decorations, Woody’s Halloween Roundup and the trick or treat parties at California Adventure (on select nights – tickets required).

The Disneyland Fantasyland Smoking Area has been returned.  No longer will there be smokers on the way to the Tomorrowland Train Station.

Small World Updates:

The Small World Façade is now uncovered and looks beautiful with what looks to be a fresh coat of paint.

Water has been placed in the flume for vehicle testing.   The new ride vehicles look very different, and very nice!  Each boat now has five rows with handholds on the seat back for entering and exiting the boat.  Work is still being done on the Small World garden areas.
