Disney Cruises for Adults

Disney Cruise Line is not a place just for children. Both the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic have a wonderful selection of activities specifically for those 18 years old and above. Now included on both ships is an adults only sports pub, and a new gourmet coffee shop.

Disney Cruise Line offers elegant, peaceful and sophisticated places for adults to dine while on board. One such place, Palo, is located on the upper decks of both ships and is an adult only restaurant. With incredible ocean views combined with a stylish setting and a wonderful Italian menu Palo is a treat for adult guests. The Cove Café, located near the adult only Cove Pool is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a gourmet coffee or light snack. Here you can read, get on the internet or just sit back and relax in a quiet area.

Disney also makes it easy for adults to relax while on board. Adults can enjoy the Cove Pool for swimming or simply relaxing on deck in a chaise lounge. Need to relax even more? Try out one of the two adjoining whirlpool spas.

The Vista Spa and Salon has recently been expanded by 1,700-square feet, and offers three brand new and specifically designed "spa villas." Each spa villa comes complete with an indoor spa treatment suite, connected to a private outdoor verandah with a personal hot tub, open air shower and luxurious chaise lounge. Enjoy the wonderful ocean views with your loved one for a perfect romantic getaway while still on board the ship. There are other spa treatments such as massages, body wraps and pedicures are available, while the salon offers a broad range of services.

Because of the Vista Spa expansion, the fitness area has doubled in size, now with more space for exercise equipment, and an area for spinning classes and a couple of private salons for Pilates instruction and one-on-one beauty and fitness consultations.

The adult only side of the Disney Cruise does not end when you go on shore excursions. At Disney's private island Castaway Cay, the adults have a beach all their own, with nobody under 18 allowed on the beach. Serenity Bay, has sparkling turquoise waters that meet pristine white sand, and plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and two-person hammocks are provided for guests to enjoy. The beautiful Serenity Bay is nearly a mile from the other beaches. There is also Castaway Air Bar nearby which serves specialty drinks and a barbeque lunch.

After relaxing, it is time to play in an adult only area. Each ship, the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic have 3 different nightclubs open only to adults after 9:00pm each night. There is a trendy dance club, a nice piano bar, and a casual sports bar for adult enjoyment.

If you want to learn something while on vacation, you can learn the secrets behind your wonderful dining experiences in Disney's Art of Entertaining. In this class experts give tips for creating great desserts and floral arrangements.

There is also storytelling in Disney's Navigator Series. This is where you can learn about the mysteries of the sea as the Storytellers spin tales of pirates, treasures, exotic islands and classic ocean liners. There are also bridge officers that host demonstrations on navigational techniques and customs.

In Disney Behind-the-Scenes you get a sneak peek behind the scenes of the incredible Walt Disney Theatre, along with other exciting entertainment-related activities.

For those who enjoy fine wine, you can try From Stem to Stern wine tasting, where you will learn to sip like a pro by meeting with one of the ship's sommeliers and sampling different wines from all over the world.

Something for everybody has worked for Disney Cruise Lines. Now it can work for you as you enjoy a wonderful vacation.
