Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Merchandise

What an exciting time for Disney fans worldwide! With Disneyland's 50th Anniversary underway, exciting events & products are being released for the true collectors. As most of you are now aware, Disneyland shut its doors on May 4, 2005 to prepare for "The Happiest Homecoming on Earth". Only special guests & invited press were allowed into the park to preview the spectacular celebration starting on May 5, 2005.

For those lucky enough to be in attendance, they were given the opportunity to purchase a "50th Mickey Mouse Logo Pin" on the day of its debut. This is a beautiful pin with Mickey Mouse in his celebration attire marching with the 50th Logo sparkling in gold.

On May 5th, when the park opened to the public, a few items of interest became available for sale; including, "Musical History of Disneyland" a 6 CD Boxed Set "that features moments in Disneyland History as well as reminiscent music from attractions, parades, lands and icons of yesteryear and today". The "Artisan Watch Program" featuring New Century Timepieces. "50th Anniversary Disney Dollars" which feature Dumbo ($1.00), Donald Duck ($5.00), Stitch ($10.00) and first time-ever $50.00 bill featuring who else....but Mickey Mouse himself. Plus many more items, too many to list, but a must to see if you get the chance.
