The Disney Princess Stories have played an interaural part of the popularity of Disney's movies. It is no surprise that they are also very popular at the Disneyland resort. Beginning in late 2006 the Disney Princesses got their own area in Disneyland called the “Princess Fantasy Faire" where shows and storytelling was held mostly at the Fantasy Land Theater which replaced the Carnation Gardens Plaza. The older videos in this playlist took place in 2008/2009 at this time. In 2013 the ‘Fantasy Faire’ opened which included the Royal Theater, an open-air venue, where longer, more sophisticated storytelling took place. The shows performed at the Royal Theater were Tangled, Beauty and the Beast originally and Frozen in 2015
