Naples Ristorante Review by Hazertmed

A nice Italian pizzeria that serves decent pizza. Naples uses a wood burning oven that is in your view when you walk inside. The kitchen is open so you can see the cooks preparing the food. They have ample seating both inside and outside as well.

We ate here on two separate occasions once for lunch and once for dinner. We only had pizza both times so I can not give my opinion on the other food offerings, although they do not offer too much. The menu does not offer the amount of choices that I am used to seeing. I have heard the menu is different though if you ask for seating upstairs. I don't know why they would do this though.

They start you off with some bread, some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I like restaurants that offer this combo as an appetizer, it's better than a roll and butter in my opinion. Our first dinning experience we decided on a family size pizza for dinner with pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was good. It is a very thin crust pizza that you almost have to eat with a fork. The toppings tasted fresh, pepperoni and sausage and there was plenty of cheese. It was a bit on the oily side, but I looked past the grease. The family size pizza is rather large but I did my best to eat my share. There were three in our party and we left a little over a third of the pizza.

Our next trip to the restaurant we had a large group of 9 for lunch. We were seated out in the patio area which was nice to sit out in the sun and cool breeze. We were seated quickly and had a good waiter. Our trio decided on pizza again although we went with a smaller size this time. Some in our party ordered lasagna and some other dishes with no complaints. They seemed like they were large portions as well.

Service as a whole could be better. Our first trip in was late in the evening so it was not very busy yet it took longer than average to get our food. Our waitress was very nice and polite and I did not have an empty glass the entire time. Our second visit we had a long wait for the food again but we had a large party. The prices are a bit on the high side for a pizzeria of this type. It is in Downtown Disney but still a tad high just for pizza. If you have a family of 4 to 5 the family size pizza will work out well and you will end up ahead compared to separate entrees at a different restaurant.

Overall if you are looking for decent pizza and a family style restaurant this is a good option to consider on your next trip.
