The Restaurantosaurus is a quick service restaurant located near The Bone Yard at Animal Kingdom.
This restaurant is sponsored by McDonald’s but the fare is not from the franchise.
If McDonald’s fries are what you are looking for, they can be found at Petrifries right around the corner.
Restaurantosaurus has the standard quick service options.
The menu includes burgers, fries, and chicken nuggets.
Dessert options include carrot cake, chocolate cake, and cheesecake.
As per Disney standards, there are also fresh fruit and veggie options.
The restaurant itself was busy, crowded and kind of loud.
The décor is supposed to look like a dinosaur dig area (think khaki, wood, old equipment, and sand).
At the center of the restaurant there is a very large toppings station for your burgers. Toppings included lettuce, tomatoes, all kinds of relishes (yes, more than three options!), sauces and dressings, and onions. The booths and tables for Restaurantosaurus are located around the toppings station and outside. We opted to sit outside. The outdoor area was covered and very nice, but crowded. There are bushes and foliage all around so this is not an ideal spot to sit and people watch, however, its secluded feel made the crowds more bearable.
There are not many dining options at Animal Kingdom. If a quick service meal is what you are looking for Restaurantosaurus is one of only three options. Restaurantosaurus is a nice, quick, enjoyable meal. I recommend Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom if what you need is a quick burger and fries.
